ANGOLA, IND. -- Trine University women's cross country member Evie Bultemeyer (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) has been named this week's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association "Runner of the Week."
Bultemeyer posted the top overall time at this past weekend's Knight Invitational hosted by Calvin (Mich.) College. Her time of 21:29.0 also set a school record for the 6k that surpassed Kyla Binfet's previous mark of 22:00.8.
As a team, the Thunder finished 11th of 24 teams at the Calvin event.
Bultemeyer and the Thunder will compete at the Ray Bullock Invitational hosted by Taylor University in Upland, Ind on Friday Sept. 20, 2019 at 5 pm.
