NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Trine University women's cross country team is ranked sixth in the Great Lakes Region in week two of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Poll.
The Thunder most recently competed at the Blue River XC Course in Shelbyville, Indiana for the Mount St Joseph's Invitational. The Trine women brought home a runner-up finish as a team at that event.
Freshman Lydia Randolph [Jefferson, Ohio / Edgewood Senior] was quickest for the Thunder with a second-place individual finish at 24:09.5. Rounding out the top five were Amira Faulkner [Bellbrook, Ohio / Bellbrook] in fourth and Chloe Brittain [Wheeler, Mich. / Breckenridge] in fifth.
Up next on the schedule are the Huntington University Invitational and Louisville Classic on back-to-back days: Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2.
