2024 Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp 

The Trine University men's basketball team has announced dates for the 2024 Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp this summer.

The overnight camp will be held Sunday, July 21 through Wednesday, July 24 on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open for boys basketball players in grades 3-12. Campers will receive individual instruction from the Trine coaching staff in groups based on age and ability. Campers will also have the opportunity to compete in tournament and league games. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will receive a certificate, t-shirt and camp basketball.

The camp prices are $399 for overnight campers and $299 for day campers. Overnight campers will stay in air-conditioned, apartment-style housing with counselor supervision.

Boys Basketball Prospect Camp 

The Trine University men's basketball team is hosting a prospect camp on Sunday, March 24 inside the MTI Center.

The camp will run from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. with current high school freshmen through juniors taking the floor from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and current high school seniors from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The cost of the camp is $50 per person. Prospects can REGISTER by clicking the link. Registrations are due by March 20.

2024 Women's Basketball Day Camp

 

The Trine University women's basketball team has announced dates for their 2024 Women's Basketball Day Camp this summer.

The camp will be held on July 8-10 on the campus of Trine University from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily. The camp is open to female basketball players in grades 4-7. Campers will receive individual instruction from the Trine coaching staff in groups based on age and ability. Campers will have the opportunity to work on fundamental skill development, full court work, small group work, and small games.

2024 Women's Soccer Spring I.D. Clinic

The Trine University women's soccer coaching staff, led by head coach Gary Boughton, has announced that the program's Spring 2024 I.D. Clinic will be held on Sunday, March 24.

The clinic will feature instruction from the coaching staff for individual players looking to compete at the collegiate level with a focus on both individual technical skills as well as small sided and 11v11 games.

The clinic is set to run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the turf field of Zollner Stadium on Trine's Angola campus and is open to all high school players or junior college transfers graduating in years 2024 through 2027.

The camp will cost $59, but there is a ten dollar discount for registering before Friday, March 1.

2024 Women's Soccer Prospect Camp

The Trine University women's soccer coaching staff, led by head coach Gary Boughton, has announced they will host their 2024 Elite Prospect Camp beginning on Saturday, July 13 through Sunday, July 14.

The camp is focused on providing instruction for individual athletes looking to compete at the collegiate level. Focus will be put individual technical development for players, small sided and 11v11 games. There will be a total of three on-field sessions, a campus tour, meals provided and presentations for the campers about Trine University. The event will begin with check-in on Saturday afternoon and end Sunday evening.

The camp will carry a cost of $175 if registration is completed by Saturday, June 1 or $200 if completed afterwards. For more information please view the camp's flyer. Softball Players Clinic

The Trine University softball team has announced that they will host a second Players Clinic, after the high demand for the 17th annual edition back in December. The clinic will be hosted on Sunday, February 25. 

The annual Players Clinic is focused on instructing attendees in all facets of the game, utilizing skills and techniques that led the program to its first NCAA Division III National Championship and have made the program one of the best in Division III over the past decade.

The general afternoon session (1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.), which is open to players 12 and up, costs $100. Catching and pitching sessions are available in the morning at a cost of $40 each. Catching and pitching spots are limited to 20 participants. For more information check out the clinic's flyer.

2022 Acrobatics and Tumbling Prospect Camp

The Trine University Acrobatics and Tumbling team has announced their 2022 Prospect Camp which will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The camp is open to all female athletes currently competing at any level of acrobatics, competitive cheer, gymnastics and tumbling looking to continue their athletic career at the collegiate level. Only athletes currently enrolled in grades nine through 12 may attend, but all skill levels are welcome.

Trine student athletes and coaches will provide quality instruction to improve technique and safely learn new skills. 

The camp carries a cost of $50 per athlete and will run from 9 a.m. until noon.

2023 Acrobatics and Tumbling Overnight Camp

The Trine University acrobatics and tumbling program has announced the dates of their annual overnight camp.

The camp is set to begin on Saturday, July 15 and will end on Sunday, July 16. The camp is open to all female athletes ages 8-18 and all skill levels are welcome to attend. The student-athletes and coaching staff of Thunder acrobatics and tumbling will provide quality instruction to improve technique and safely learn new skills.

At the end of the two-day event attendees will put on a showcase to exhibit all they have learned. Parents are encouraged to come and watch this "Show Off" which is held at the end of the second day of the camp.

Those wishing to partake in the overnight camp will be charged $150 with a commuter option available for $125. The camp will be hosted in Hershey Hall on Trine's Angola Campus.

Acrobatics & Tumbling Fall Clinic

The Trine University Acrobatics & Tumbling team has announced that they will sponsor a clinic on Saturday, October 3. The camp will be hosted off-campus at Tri-State Gymnastics.

The clinic is perfect for female athletes competing at all levels of acrobatics, gymnastics, competitive cheerleading and tumbling. Attendees of all skill levels from ages eight to 18 are welcome and will be exposed to basic Acro & Tumbling skills.

The clinic is set to run from 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. and attendees should plan on bringing their own lunch.

Registration is available online and those wishing to attend should read through the COVID-19 protocol for the clinic which is included in the registration.

The event is open to all ages 8-18.

2023 Holiday Youth Baseball Camp

The Trine University baseball team has announced the time and date for their 2023 Holiday Youth Camp. The youth camp for grades 3-8 will run on Thursday, December 28 beginning at 10 a.m. inside the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center (ARC).

The Trine baseball coaching staff and players will conduct sessions throughout the day. Session one is focused on infield, outfield and hitting and will run from 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The pitching, catching and hitting session will run from 12:45 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Each session will cost $45 or you can purchase an all-day session pass for $65. Lunch will not be provided – please bring snack and water if needed. Make a check or money order payable to "Trine University Baseball." No refunds but walk-ins are welcome.

2023 Winter High School Baseball Camp

The Trine University baseball team is hosting a high school baseball camp inside the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center (ARC) as well as the Ketner Sports Center on campus. The date for the 2023 winter camp is set for Sunday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Thunder coaching staff and players will conduct sessions focused on hitting, pitching and defense for high school players looking to compete at the college level. The cost of the camp is $99 and will include lunch. Camp spots are limited to 30.

2023 Trine Baseball Senior Prospect Camp

The Trine University baseball team will be hosting a Senior Prospect Camp on Sunday, October 1 at Jannen Field.

The camp will be run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 9 a.m. The Thunder coaching staff and players will run a defensive combine and batting practice in the morning, followed by a game in the afternoon. The cost of the camp is $99 and includes lunch.

Boys Basketball Varsity Team Camp

The Trine men's basketball team will host a Varsity Team Camp for high school student-athletes this summer.

The 2017 Trine Men's Basketball Varsity Team Camp is scheduled for Thursday, June. 14 on the campus of Trine University. The one-day camp is open to players in grades 9-12. 

Two certified officials for each game and each team is guaranteed three games.  Main floor games will be filmed and copies will be provided to each team. Full use of all facilities including state of the art film room and weight room.

The cost of the camp is $175 per team.

Boy's Basketball Elite Camp

The Trine men's basketball team will host an Elite Camp for high school student-athletes this summer.

The 2019 Trine Men's Basketball Elite Camp is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 4 in the MTI Center on the campus of Trine University. The one-day skills camp is open to players entering grades 9-12 for the upcoming 2019-20 academic year.  Players will receive drill work in stations, participate in competitions and have the opportunity to work in five-on-five situations.

The camp is designed to give student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent in a collegiate atmosphere. The cost of the camp is $50 per player. Cost includes a camp t-shirt.

Campers will have the opportunity to learn from a coaching staff that has led the Thunder to eight consecutive MIAA Tournament appearances, including the program's first MIAA regular-season championship in 2018-19. Trine produced the MIAA Defensive and Offensive "Players of the Year" an All-Region honoree and three All-MIAA performers last year. 


2022 Women's Basketball Team Camp

The Trine University women's basketball team is hosting a camp for high school girls basketball teams on June 9-11, 2022 inside the MTI Center on the campus of Trine University.

The camp is available to the first 12 teams to sign up. Each team is guaranteed seven games with IHSAA licensed referees. Amenities for those participating include housing, meals, recreational activities, laundry and practice times.

The cost is $250 per player ($175 per commuting player) plus one free coach and $125 for all other coaches. The REGISTRATION FORM is due by May 27, 2022 to Associate Head Coach Rob Hoffman by mail, email or phone (260) 665-4727.

2022 Women's Basketball Elite Camp

The Trine University women's basketball team will be hosting an elite camp for high school basketball players on Sunday, June 26 at 1 pm.

The one-day prospect camp will be held in the MTI Center on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open to young women entering grades 10-12 in the fall of 2022. The session is limited to the first 22 players to register or the June 24th deadline. Registration is $40.

The prospect camp is geared towards high school aged players looking to take their game to the next level. Campers will receive instruction from Trine women's basketball coaches and players and will participate in drill work, competitive games and attend a college admission/recruiting seminar. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.

Girls Basketball Summer Shoot-out

The Trine women's basketball team will host its fifth annual Summer Shoot-Out Friday, Jun. 8, 2018. 

The one-day, 24-team tournament will begin at 9 a.m. in Trine University's MTI Center. Both varsity and JV divisions will be available. Registration is limited to the first 24 teams to sign up. All participating teams are guaranteed at least three games. Registration is $185 per team and is due by May 20.

Each game will feature two, 20-minute halves. The games will feature a running clock except for the last minute of the first half and last two minutes of the second half. IHSAA-licensed referees will work all games.

Cheer and Dance Virtual Camps

The Trine University cheer and dance programs have announced a pair of virtual camps geared toward children, ages five to 12, that will be taking place in the upcoming months.

The dance team will host their Storm Troopers Virtual Dance Camp on Sunday, February 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The cheer team will host their Little Bolts Virtual Cheer Camp on Sunday, March 14 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The camps will be hosted remotely from Trine University with participants receiving a Zoom link and password upon registration.

Participants will receive instruction from the Trine University coaching staff and student-athletes in discipline-specific techniques.

The camps will cost $20 for each participant, with a five-dollar discount available for those who sign up for both virtual camps. That cost includes a team performance, team personalized coloring book, and a routine DVD.

The deadline for registration is Friday, February 26 for the February 28 camp and Friday, March 12  for the March 14 camp.


2023 College Prep Cheer Clinic

The Trine University cheer team has announced that they will host a College Prep Cheer Clinic on Sunday, December 3.

The event is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. with check-in beginning at noon. Participants will have the opportunity to work with the coaches and members of Trine cheer on skills crucial for collegiate cheer. Instruction is set to focus specifically on stunting and pyramids.

The day will end with a question and answer period, a great chance for attendees to get to know the staff better and to find out information on joining the team in the future.

The clinic is open to all ages and to both those with all-girl and co-ed stunting experience. It will be held in Hershey Hall on Trine's Angola Campus.

2023 Spring Cheer Clinics

The Trine University cheer team has announced that they will host a pair of clinics during the upcoming months. The first is scheduled for Sunday, March 26 and the second for Sunday, April 16.

The event, which will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., is an opportunity to work with the coaches and members of Trine cheer on skills crucial for cheer. The clinic will include sessions on stunts, pyramids, tumbling and baskets.

The clinic is open to everyone age 12 and up and will carry a cost of 40 dollars per attendee. It will be hosted in Hershey Hall on Trine's Angola Campus.

Thunder cheerleading still has spots open on their 2023-24 roster and are actively recruiting. The clinic is another opportunity to introduce yourself to the coaching staff.

2023 Cheer and Dance Kids Camps

 The Trine University cheer and dance programs have announced a pair of camps geared toward children, ages five to 12, that will be taking place early in 2023.

The dance team will host their Storm Troopers Dance Camp on Saturday, January 21 while the cheer team will host their Little Bolts Cheer Camp on Saturday, February 18. Both camps will run from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Attendees will receive instruction from the Trine University coaching staff and student-athletes during which they will choreograph a halftime performance. Following the instruction period, the attendees will join the Thunder squads for a varsity basketball game where they will participate in team runouts and halftime performances.

The camps will cost $35 for each attendee, with a discount available to those who register for both camps. That cost includes a t-shirt, memory DVD and entry to the basketball game for both the attendee and guests. Both camps will be held in Hershey Hall with performances taking place in the MTI Center.

2024 Winter Dance Clinic

The Trine University High Voltage Dance Team has announced that they will host a Winter Dance Clinic taking place on Sunday, January 21.

The clinic is designed to give dancers a glimpse of what being a part of a collegiate dance team is all about. Attendees will learn a band dance, gameday chant, a jazz/contemporary combination and a hip-hop combination while also working on technique and across the floor skills.

The event is scheduled to run from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the MTI Center on Trine University's campus. Check in will begin at 12:15 p.m. All dancers 12 and over are welcome. The clinic carries a cost of $40.

2023 Football Pre Camp Workout

The Trine University football team has announced that they will host the Thunder Football Pre Camp Workout on Friday, May 19.

The clinic is designed to prepare attendees with the tools needed for summer camp season. Attendees will have a chance to learn from the coaching staff of the successful program at Trine University which has coached the team to two Michigan intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championships in the past six seasons.

The clinic carries a cost of S20 and will run from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Attendees should arrive for event registration at 6:30 p.m. Everyone should bring cleats and gym shoes (in case of inclement weather) while quarterbacks should bring a football.

Boy's Football Prospect/Satellite Camps

ANGOLA, Ind.  --  The Trine University football team will be conducting a pair of prospect/satellite camps at two area high schools this summer.

The first camp is set for Wednesday, June 26, 2019 and will be held at North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Ind.  Registration for the camp will begin at 6 p.m. and the camp itself will run from 7 - 9 p.m.

Cost of the camp is $5 per person and is intended for high school players who will be graduating in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The second camp will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at St. Joseph's High School in South Bend, Ind.  Registration for the camp will begin at 6 p.m. and the camp will run from 7 - 9 p.m.

Cost of the camp is also $5 per person and is intended for high school players who will be graduating in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

2023 Fall Trine Men's Lacrosse I.D. Clinic

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's lacrosse team has announced that their 2023 Fall TLX I.D. Clinic will be held on Sunday, September 17 and will run from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The camp is open to any athlete graduating from high school or junior college in the years 2024 through 2027. The cost of the camp will be $100 per participant.

Trine Thunder Girls Lacrosse Camp

The Trine University women's lacrosse team will offer a summer camp open to girls lacrosse players ages 14-18, the team has announced. 

The camp runs from Monday, July 30 through Wednesday, Aug. 1. The camp begins with check-in from 1 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. on July 30 and will end with check-out at 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 1.

Campers will receive instruction from college coaches with an emphasis on position training, advanced skills, and small sided play. Campers will also be coached through team concepts, scrimmages and a high level of competition. All sessions will be held on Trine University's Shive Field, home of Thunder lacrosse.

Overnight and commuter options are available. The commuter option includes four meals with a cost of $250. The overnight option includes two nights of lodging and six meals, with prices of $275 for goalies and $300 for field players. All campers will receive a reversible jersey as a part of their experience.

2022 Rugby Summer Camp

The Trine University men's rugby team will host it's first talent ID and residency camp which will run from Wednesday, June 15 through Friday, June 17. The camp with feature 2020 Olympian, current USA 7's player and Trine alumnus Joe Schroeder.

The camp will feature both on and off the field sessions working with the Thunder coaching staff and Schroeder. Attendees will also get an inside look at the Trine University campus experience with campus tours and activities.

Tentatively, check in for the camp will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday followed by an on-field session. The camp will then run from 7 a.m. through the evening of Thursday before picking up again Friday morning and concluding at 5:30 p.m.

The camp is open to boys ages 15 to 18 and carries a cost of $200 for overnight attendees and $100 for day campers. Those interested in attending should register online. Any questions or for more detailed information on the schedule of events please reach out to head coach Danny Breda.

Men's Soccer - Angola Youth Soccer League

The Trine University men's soccer program will host the Angola Youth Soccer League on Trine's campus in September and October.

The league will begin on Sunday, September 19 and run for five straight Sundays with the last session scheduled for Sunday, October 17.  The camp will run from 1 pm to 2 pm.

Cost of joining the league is $50 and intended for children ages 3-12. 

Each one-hour session is designed by college coaches and will be run by college players under the supervision of the coaches.

There will be a total of three on-field sessions, a campus tour, meals provided and presentations for the campers about Trine University.

The camp is open to any athlete graduating from high school or junior college in the years 2023 through 2027. The event will begin with check-in on Friday afternoon and end Saturday evening.

The camp will carry a cost of $175 if registration is completed by Monday, May 15 or $200 if completed afterwards. For more information please view the camp's flyer. 2019 Thunder Softball Team Camps

The Trine University softball team has announced that it will be hosting five fall team camps on Sundays throughout September and early October. All camps will take place at Parkview/SportONE Field on Trine's campus in Angola, Ind.

The team camps are open to five teams per date and will be held on Sept. 8, Sept. 15, Sept. 22, Sept 29 and Oct. 6, all of which are Sundays. The camps will begin beginning at 9 a.m. each date. Registration is limited to the first 25 teams that register.

Each participating team is guaranteed to play two games. The cost of the Thunder Softball Team Camps is 200 dollars per team.

2023 Softball Fall Clinics

The Trine University softball team has announced that they will host a pair of clinics in September. The first is scheduled for Saturday, September 9 and the second for Sunday, September 24.

Both clinics offer the unique opportunity to spend a day learning from the 2023 NCAA Division III National Champions and the National Coaching Staff of the Year. After checking in at 9 a.m. attendees will spend the morning improving their defensive skills before spending the afternoon learning from one of the nation's most potent offenses.

The clinics carry a cost of $100 per attendee with spaces limited to 40 per day. Those interested in attending should register online. Questions should be directed to head coach Don Danklefsen.


2023 Softball Hitting and Players Clinics

The Trine University softball team has announced that they will host a pair of clinics in the coming months, one focused on hitting and the other their 17th annual Players Clinic.

The hitting clinic will be held on Sunday, Nov. 12 while the Players Clinic is set for Sunday, Dec. 3. Both offer the unique opportunity to work with the players and coaches of the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championships Team.

The hitting clinic is a great chance for softball players to learn the techniques used by the elite hitters of Trine University's softball team. Last season the Thunder batters finished top-ten nationally in homeruns, doubles and total runs.

Sessions will be focused on hitting fundamentals and drills that have helped Trine succeed at the plate. The hitting clinic costs $75 individually with just 50 spots available. For more information check out the clinic's flyer.

The annual Players Clinic is focused on instructing attendees in all facets of the game, utilizing skills and techniques that led the program to its first NCAA Division III National Championship and have made the program one of the best in Division III over the past decade.

The general afternoon session (1:30 p.m. - 6 p.m.), which is open to players 12 and up, costs $100. Catching and pitching sessions are available in the morning at a cost of $40 each. Catching and pitching spots are limited to 20 participants. For more information check out the clinic's flyer.

Softball Pitching Clinic

The Trine softball team will be offering a pitching clinic on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The clinic will give participants the chance to work with the pitching staff of the elite Trine University softball team and their pitching coach Dennis Smith. Coach Smith has over 30 years of experience coaching and teaching the art of pitching. Under Smith, Trine pitchers were named MIAA Pitcher of the Year four straight years from 2012 to 2015.

The clinic will cost $50 per participant and is open to players ages 13 and up.

Last season the team finished runner-up during the NCAA Division III Softball Championships on the back of finishing nationally top-ten in homeruns per game and top-25 in sacrifice bunts.

Sessions will be focused on hitting fundamentals and drills that have helped the Thunder succeed at the plate.

Each clinic costs $75 individually and will be capped at 60 participants.

2023 Trine Summer Tennis Camps

The Trine tennis teams will host a pair of youth camps during the summer months. The first is scheduled to run from Monday, June 19 through Thursday, June 22 while the other goes from Monday, July 31 through Thursday, August 3.

The camp is open to all levels of experience from grades kindergarten through high school. Different sessions are held each day for different grade levels, beginning with kindergarten through fourth at 10 a.m.

The cost of the event is 40 dollars for grades kindergarten through eighth and 50 dollars for high school students (9th-12th grades).

End of Summer Tennis Camp

The Trine tennis teams will host an End of Summer Camp for youth this August.

The camp takes place from Monday, August 3 through Friday, August 7 on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open to tennis players of all ages. Campers will be separated into three age groups: kindergarten through fourth grade, grades 5-8, and grades 9-12. Camp instruction is geared to instruct players of all ability levels.

2019 Tennis Camps and Clinics Scheule

The Trine University tennis program has announced their schedule of events for the remainder of 2019. 

Leading off the schedule is the program's 2019 Boys High School Season Prep Camp which will take place Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26. The camp will cost 75 dollars for each participant. For more information check out the camp flyer.

Next up is the 2019 End of Summer Tennis Camp which will be held from Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9. The camp is open to kindergarten through 12th-grade students with any tennis ability from beginner to advanced. Times are staggered based on age group so make sure to view the official flyer for more information. The camp will cost 50 dollars for high school aged students and 40 dollars for all others.

Moving into November the program will host their Junior Competitive Clinics open to intermediate and advanced middle and high school players. Participants will be exposed to drills and match-play focused on taking their game to the next level. The clinics take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on multiple dates in November. Rounding out the year for the program is the Winter Tennis Camp which will be held beginning Monday, December 30 and running through Thursday, January 2. Once again the camp is open to all players from kindergarten through 12th grade with separate times for different age groups. 2022-23 Track and Field High School Clinics

The Trine University men's and women's track and field teams are hosting clinics for high school athletes this winter.

Each session will take place in the Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic and Recreation Center (ARC), the team's indoor facility. It will be $10 per two-hour session (cash only at the door).

2023 Trine Men's Volleyball Elite Camp

The Trine University men's volleyball team has announced the dates for their Trine Men's Volleyball Elite Camp. The Thunder will host high school age boys for an overnight camp on Friday, July 28 through Saturday, July 29.

The Trine men's volleyball team will instruct campers in three on-court training sessions. The cost of the camp is $200 with meals and a t-shirt included. Check-in is at 3 p.m. on July 28 and checkout at 4 p.m. on July 29.

2022 Boys Volleyball Overnight Camp

The Trine University men's volleyball team has announced their overnight camp on June 6-7 for boys ages 14-18.

Campers will receive individual position training, as well as team play, from the Thunder coaching staff and players. Food, housing and a t-shirt will be provided. Check-in will begin at 3 pm on Monday, June 6 with check-out taking place at 6 pm on Tuesday, June 7. The cost of the camp is $200.

2023 Women's Volleyball Summer Camps

The Trine University women's volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps in July. The Thunder will be hosting five camps geared toward middle and high school aged athletes. 

The Advanced Skills/Elite Camp will be held from Saturday, July 8 to Sunday, July 9. Participants will receive eight hours of advanced skills training including scrimmage play. Specific instruction will be available for setting, attacking and defensive skills during the camp. The cost of the camp is $175 for overnight campers and $150 for commuters. The camp is open to incoming high school freshmen to graduating seniors interested in playing at the next level.

The team's Middle School Day Camp will be held from Monday, July 10 to Wednesday, July 12. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. The camp is designed to give campers a well-rounded knowledge of the game and will include basic skills, position understanding, technique, movement work, and overall flow of the game. It is open to players entering fifth grade to ninth grade or younger players with club playing experience. The cost of the camp is $150 and includes lunch on campus.

Three camps will be offering in-depth position-specific work, each covering the nuances of specific court positions. Attackers and setters camp will be held on Monday, July 10. The defense, serve and pass camp will be offered on Tuesday, July 11. An additional attackers and setters camp will be held on Wednesday, July 12. The cost for each of these specialty training camps is $30 per day for the two-hour training session that will run 4-6 p.m.

Thunder Wrestling Clinics

The Trine wrestling team will host a series of clinics this summer.

Clinics will be held on 10 Sunday dates beginning May 21. All clinics will take place between 5 - 6:30 p.m. Every clinic will include instruction in technique as well as a live spar session. Clinics will be led and coached by Thunder assistant coach Tom Hall, as well as a variety of college wrestlers at various weights.

Cost of each session $10. Participants can also book all 10 camp dates for $70, paid in advance.

Trine's wrestling program and coaching staff has produced four NCAA Division III All-Americans, as well as 11 national qualifiers. Fourteen Thunder wrestlers have earned Scholar All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

2023 Trine Wrestling Camp

The Trine University women's wrestling team has announced that they will host the 2023 Trine Wrestling Camp.

The camp, a two-day event, is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 3 and Sunday, June 4. The first day is open to everyone, while the second day is designated for women wrestlers only.

Attendees will be instructed will work on the fundamentals of freestyle wrestling and will work with the coaches of Trine wrestling along with guest clinicians.

On Saturday, Johnni DiJulius will be in attendance. A former a four-time NCAA Division I national qualifier at Ohio State University and a three-time OHSAA Champion, DiJulius also spent time as an assistant coach at Harvard University.

The camp carries a cost of $75 for the one-day attendees and will cost $100 for overnight attendance.

2021 Girl's Wrestling Day Camp

The Trine University women's wrestling program has announced that their Girl's Wrestling Day Camp will be held on Saturday, June 5.

The camp is open to athletes looking to be recruited by the Thunder or to young athletes looking for an opportunity to learn new techniques. The camp is open to all female athletes at all experience levels of wrestling experience.

All those attending will receive quality instruction from the Trine University coaching staff aimed at improving technique while safely learning new skills. Parents are welcome to attend and an athletic trainer will be observing the event.

The camp includes two sessions. Attendees may choose to attend a single session at the cost of $35 or may attend both sessions (option also includes lunch) for $60.
