ANGOLA, IND.-- Trine Athletics will host thei annual Trine Thunder Club Golf Classic Friday, May 8, the school's athletic department announced Monday.

The event will now tee off with a shotgun start at 11 a.m. The outing is open to all members of the Thunder Varsity Club. Various sponsorship opportunities are available, with perks ranging from mention in the event program, tee, hole and team sponsorship, and corporate sponsorship with your corporation's logo being included in the event banner. The event will be held at the university's Zollner Golf Course.

Registration is $85 per player and $340 per team. Registration includes green fees and a cart, drinks, a dinner of burgers, brats, hot dogs and pizza, and door prizes.

Please submit registration and payment by May 4.

This year's outing provides the opportunity for Thunder Club members to enjoy a day of golf in conjunction with several other events on campus. Kenny Rogers will perform at the T. Furth Center for Performing Arts Friday, May 8.

Commencement will be held the following day. The commencement address will be delivered by television icon Regis Philbin.
