ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University softball team secured the program’s 13th, and fifth straight, Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) championship with a lopsided sweep of visiting Albion College.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University baseball team concluded the 2024 season with a victory against The University of Olivet, 12-8. That game was seven innings in length after game one of Sunday’s doubleheader went into extra innings. The Comets secured the game and series win with a 4-0 triumph in 12 innings.

The Flying Dutch (13-4) advance to the NCAA Tournament with the win while the Thunder (12-6) set a new record for most wins in a season.

It is the program’s fourth outdoor crown in a row to go with five straight indoor MIAA titles. Hope College made things interesting, but once the dust settled on the 20 events, Trine tallied 185 points to Hope’s 178.
