ANGOLA, Ind.-- Take a look at the upcoming schedule and a brief preview of the week ahead in Trine Thunder athletics.
Wednesday
Men's Basketball: Trine at Albion, 6 p.m.
The final week of the season opens with the Thunder tied for
second place in the MIAA. Trine will need to tie or finish ahead of
Hope to earn a first-round game on the home court at Hershey Hall.
The Thunder won the first meeting between Trine and Albion this
season by a 66-56 final. The Britons have won the last two meetings
at Albion.
Women's Basketball: Alma at Trine, 7 p.m.
A Thunder win, combined with an Olivet loss, would give Trine a
berth in the MIAA Tournament. Trine enters the game 8-6 in
conference play and holding onto a one-game lead for fourth-place
in the conference. The Thunder won the first meeting between the
two teams this season by a 71-57 final.
Saturday
Track and Field: Jon and Carol Liechty Alumni Invitational,
10 a.m.
The track and field teams welcome Alumni to participate in an open
meet in Keith E. Busse/Steel Dynamics Athletic Recreation Center.

Hoop-la Community Day, 12 p.m.
The basketball teams welcome the community to join them for a
basketball doubleheader with free admission for all fans. The games
will feature giveaways and special activities. For more

Men's Basketball: Olivet at Trine, 1 p.m.
The final game of the regular-season sees the Thunder welcome the
Comets to Hershey Hall as part of Community Day. Trine won the
first meeting by an 87-74 final.
Women's Basketball: Hope at Trine, 3 p.m.
The 11th-ranked Dutch come to Hershey Hall to wrap up the
regular-season. The Thunder will look to wrap-up a MIAA Tournament
bid.
Sunday
Men's Tennis: Trine at St. Francis, 9 a.m.
The Thunder open the spring season with a match against St.
Francis at Wildwood Racket Club in Fort Wayne. Trine went 2-4 in
the fall season.
Men's Tennis: Trine vs. Earlham, 12:30 p.m. (at Wildwood
Racket Club)
The second of two matches on the day for the Thunder men's tennis
team.
