ANGOLA, IND.-- Take a look at the upcoming schedule and a brief look at the week ahead for Trine Thunder athletics. This week is Homecoming at Trine University. For a complete schedule of University-wide Homecoming events, click HERE.
Monday
Men's Golf: Trine at MIAA Jamboree- Calvin, 1 p.m.
After finishing second in their own round of the Jamboree, the
Thunder head to Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids, Mich. four
strokes behind Hope for first-place. The host Knights remain in the
hunt for the league title as well.
Tuesday
Women's Golf: Trine at MIAA Jamboree- Hope, 1 p.m.
The Thunder ladies will be looking to produce a third-consecutive
individual medalist, after Amanda McPherron and Amy Worthington
medaled in the first two rounds. The Thunder sit in fourth-place in
the conference entering Tuesday's Jamboree.
Volleyball: Albion at Trine, 6:30 p.m.
The Britons come to Angola to face a Trine team that is riding a
five-match winning-streak. The Thunder have swept three-consecutive
opponents during that stretch.
Wednesday
Men's Tennis: Lawrence Tech at Trine, 3 p.m.
A late addition to the schedule sees the Blue Devils come town for
a non-conference match. The Thunder will be looking to start their
final week of fall play with a win to get back on track.
Men's Soccer: Trine at Calvin, 4 p.m.
The Thunder head north in search of their first MIAA win of the
season. Calvin enters the match undefeated in conference play and
7-2 overall.
Women's Soccer: Alma at Trine, 4 p.m.
The Thunder have gone to overtime in their last two matches, and
will be looking to get back to their winning ways after an OT-loss
at Albion. The Scots are off to a 4-2 start in conference play,
while the Thunder enter the match 2-3-1 in league play.
Thursday
Men's Golf: Trine at MIAA Jamboree, Hope, 1 p.m.
The Thunder will look to secure their spot near the top of the
standings in the second-to-last Jamboree of the season.
Friday
Women's Tennis: John Carroll at Trine, 3 p.m.
The Thunder carry a four-match winning-streak into their final
match of the fall season. Trine could secure their first five-match
win-streak since the 2001-02 season.
Men's Tennis: John Carroll at Trine, 3 p.m.
This match closes out fall play for the Thunder.
Homecoming Pep Rally: Zollner Athletic Stadium, 8
p.m.
Join the football team and fellow Trine students and alumni in
Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium for a pregame pep rally! For a full

Saturday
Cross Country: Trine at Grace Lancer Invitational, 10
a.m.
After last week's Jamboree, the Thunder return to a non-league
race. The Thunder men are coming off a fourth-place finish in the
MIAA Jamboree, while the women placed seventh.
Women's Soccer: Trine at St. Mary's, 12 p.m.
The Thunder make the short trip to South Bend to face the Belles
in MIAA-action.
Football: Alma at Trine, 1 p.m.
Another sellout crowd is expected at Shive Field and Fred Zollner
Athletic Stadium as the Thunder host Alma on Homecoming. A plethora
of pregame activities are planned for students and alumni. For a

The game will be the MIAA-opener for both teams, who each enter
with a 2-1 record. Trine will be looking to avenge last season's
closing defeat at the hands of the Scots. Both teams should be
prepared for a hard-fought contest following a bye week.
Men's Golf: Trine Ken Venturi Invitational, 1 p.m.
The Thunder men host the Ken Venturi Invitational on Zollner Golf
Course.
Women's Golf: Trine at MIAA Jamboree- Adrian, 1
p.m.
MIAA-play continues at Lenawee Country Club.
Volleyball: Trine at Calvin, 1 p.m.
The Thunder will be looking to avenge an early-season loss to the
then-no. 1 ranked Knights. Calvin will likely head into the match
with a top-five national ranking. The match opens the second-half
of the MIAA schedule.
Men's Soccer: Trine at Kalamazoo, 2:30 p.m.
The Thunder close out the week facing the Hornets. Each team will
be looking to fight their way back up the conference standings and
into the MIAA playoff picture.
