DULUTH, Minn. -- Senior Brett Young (Livonia, Mich.) and freshman Brad Jenion (Macclesfield, Great Britain) each earned spots on the 2019-20 Northern Collegiate Hockey Association All-Conference Teams.
Jenion, a defenseman, was named to the NCHA All-Freshman Team for his efforts this season. Jenion played in all but one game for the Thunder this season. In addition to his menacing defensive presence, he finished fourth on the team with seven goals.
That tally was good enough for him to finish 19th among NCHA defensemen in scoring and 21st among NCHA freshman.
Young finished his career at Trine with a stand out season between the pipes. Young who has started almost every game for the Thunder over the last three years including all of the team's games this season finished top five in the NCHA in three major goalie categories.
He finished second among his NCHA peers with 735 saves. He then came in fifth in both goals-against average (2.46) and save percentage (.919). Young was also named NCHA Defensive Player of the Week twice this season.
