ANGOLA, Ind.-- The second round of the MIAA National Qualifier has been rescheduled for Friday.
The round had previously been scheduled to be played yesterday, but rainy conditions forced a postponement. The event will be played at Ravines Golf Club in Saugatuck, Mich. and hosted by Hope as previously scheduled. Trine is in third place after the first of three qualifier round, 20 strokes behind first-place Olivet. The Thunder carded a score of 343 in round one, led by Amy Worthington's (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) 82. Worthington finished seventh among individuals in round one.
The second round precedes the final MIAA National Qualifier round, set for Saturday on the same course. The winner of the three-round tournament receives an automatic-qualifying bid to the NCAA Division III National Championships.
