ANGOLA, Ind. -- Introducing Trine University women's lacrosse senior midfielder, #9, Lilly Dusek.
Women's lacrosse saw their season cut short just after picking up their first win. The team boasted a host of young talent looking to make an impact under the leadership of their lone senior.
Dusek, a native of Zionsville, Ind., will finish her time at Trine with a degree in Biology with a focus on pre-medicine and a minor in chemistry.
She finishes her four-year playing career as a consistent and solid presence on the field finishing as the Thunder record holder for most games played (54) and most games started (52) despite a shortened final season. She also finishes with top-ten totals in free-position goals, ground balls, caused turnovers and shots on goal in her time at Trine.
"She is my first four-year athlete having served as a starting midfielder all of those years," said head coach Madeline Dugan, "I am so glad she stuck through the highs and lows of a building the program into what it is today. She has truly grown into the best player she could be and is one of the fastest student-athletes I have coached."
