NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has unveiled the 2022 recipients of the Division III Academic Honor Roll. Eight members of the Trine University women's lacrosse team find themselves on this list.
The IWLCA honored 1,099 student-athletes from 193 different institutions on the 2022 IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic grade point average of 3.5 or greater.
The Thunder had one graduate student named to the Academic Honor Roll in Hannah Nelson [Libertyville, Ill. / Libertyville]. Along with Nelson, there were five seniors from the 2022 squad: Liv Ghent [Byron Center, Mich. / Caledonia], Kortney Helm [Muncie, Ind. / Muncie], Madison Howard [Stockbridge, Mich. / Stockbridge], Jillian Rejczyk [Wauconda, Ill. / Wauconda] and Chloe Vruno [Geneva, Ill. / St. Francis].
Junior honorees included Ella Dougherty [Lowell, Mich. / Lowell] and Josie Prince [St. Charles, Mo. / Francis Howell Central].
Eight recipients is the most the Trine women's lacrosse team has had in a single season named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
