Morgan Sanderson (Leo, Ind. / Leo) led Trine with three shots on goal and created several quality scoring chances, including a shot that rang off the post in the second half.

Kristina Veljovic (Valparaiso, Ind. / Valparaiso) made seven saves in net for Trine. The junior continues to the MIAA in save percentage.

Trine returns to action Friday, Oct. 7 at Kalamazoo. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
