ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps and clinics, with different options available for different ages and levels of play.
Spring high school clinics will begin Sunday, Mar. 22. The clinics are open to any volleyball player in grades 7-12. Participating athletes will receive instruction in fundamentals, while learning the finer points of the game. The high school clinics are held on Sundays from 5:30-8 p.m. In addition to the opening dates, clincis will be held Apr. 19, Apr. 26 and May 3. Cost of the high school clincis are $30 per session. Space is limited to the first 25 registered participants.

Spring Volleykids 2015, open to participants in grades 3-7, opens Mar. 24. Two three-week sessions are available, which include two practices per week. Practices are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. Session one runs from Mar. 24 to Apr. 8, while session two runs from Apr. 14 to Apr. 29. Cost of each session, which includes all three weeks of practice, is $45. Space is limited to 30 participants.

The Thunder will also be hosting four summer camps this year. Youth Camp will be held Jul. 6-9 and Jul. 27-30. Youth Camp is open to athlets in grades 3-6. The camp is the most popular of Trine's summer camps and is designed to introduce young athletes to volleyball. Cost of the camp is $50 per camper.
Middle School Day Camp, open to grades six through nine, will be held Jul. 7-9. Cost of the camp is $125, or $145 with meals included.
Attacking, Setting or Defensive Overnight Camp will be held Jul. 10-11. This camp is open to athletes in grades 8-12 and will focus on developing position-specific fundamentals and skills. Meals will be provided. Cost for the camp is $125 for overnight campers, or $100 for commuters.
The final summer camp will be the "Get Ready for Tryouts" Camp. Position-specific sessions are available for athletes in grades 8-12. This camp is scheduled for Jul. 27-30 at a cost of $75.

Trine is coming off its best season as a member of NCAA Division III. The Thunder finished with a 24-6 record, produced two All-MIAA performers and one Academic All-District honoree.
