ANGOLA, Ind.-- The Trine volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps and clinics, with different options available for different ages and levels of play.
The Thunder will be hosting four summer camps this year. The first of these camps will be Middle School Camp Day, which runs from Tuesday, July 5 through Thursday, July 8. The camp will run from 9 - 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m. The Middle School Camp is designed to give campers a well-rounded knowledge of the game and will include basic schools, position understanding, technique work and flow of the game. Cost of the camp is $125, or $145 with meals included.
The team will host two camps geared towards high school players. Attack, Setting or Defensive Overnight Camp will be held Friday, July 8 - Saturday, July 9. Participants will receive eight hours of position-specific instruction spread across three sessions. Cost of the camp is $125 for an overnight camper, or $100 for a commuter. Meals are included in the camp fee.
The "Get Ready for Tryouts" camps will run Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28. Position and skill-specific sessions for attacking/blocking, setting and serving/passing/defense will be available. Cost of the camp is $75 for one session, or $125 for two sessions.
The final summer camp will be Youth Camp, geared towards athletes in grades three through six. The evening camp will run from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28. The team's most popular camp is designed to introduce young athletes to volleyball in a fun and motivational way.

Trine is coming off its fifth-straight appearance in the MIAA Tournament. The Thunder have produced at least one all-conference player in each of head coach Jamie Wozniak's six seasons.
