FREELAND, Mich. -- The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced their 2018 volleyball awards and the senior outside hitter Shannon Scott (Vicksburg, Mich. / Vicksburg) repeated as a member of the All-MIAA second team.
Scott once again led attackers this season with a .239 hitting percentage while tallying 161 kills. She also finished third on the team with 55 total blocks during the season.
Scott finishes her career at Trine in the top ten of multiple career lists, finishing with the fifth highest block assists tally (222), the seventh highest total blocks tally (252) and with the eighth highest attack percentage (.221).
The Thunder finished their season with a loss in the first round of the 2018 MIAA Tournament to Albion College. They finish the season with an 11-12 overall record while going 3-5 in the MIAA.
