Louisville, KY — The Trine Dance Team traveled to the University of Louisville for the National Dance Alliance (NDA) camp where they competed in the Team Dance D3/NAIA and Game Day Run Off division placing first out of three teams.
The Thunder sent five women to perform the team dance including Addi Hickman [Garrett, Ind. / Purdue Fort Wayne], Kenydee Otto [Coldwater, Mich. / Coldwater], Kaitlin Siener [DeKalb, Ill. / DeKalb], Chelsea Drummond [Toledo, Ohio. / Notre Dame Academy], and Vivian Starcheus [Dublin, Ohio. / Dublin Scioto]. One All American was selected by the NDA staff, freshman Vivian Starcheus.
To wrap up the weekend the Thunder won a Gold Bid to nationals in April 2022 in Daytona, Florida. Three of these highest bids were awarded along with one silver, and two bronze bids.
Other teams competing at the camp this weekend included:
IU Bloomington, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Carolina University, University of Louisville, Calumet College, Roosevelt College, West Virginia, and the Ohio State Club Dance Team.
