ANGOLA, Ind. – In the week 11 D3hoops.com Top 25 poll, the Trine University men's basketball team fell to 24th overall.
The Thunder went 1-1 last week after a win against the Hope College Flying Dutch 56-43 and a road loss at Calvin University 67-56. The Knights moved up to #11 in the national rankings and clinched a share of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) title with the win.
A pair of home games wrap up the regular season slate for Trine. They host Kalamazoo College on Wednesday, February 15 beginning at 7 p.m. and senior day will be held on Saturday, February 18 at 3 p.m. when the Adrian College Bulldogs visit Angola. Nate Carbaugh, Brent Cox and Connor Jones will be the student-athletes in the spotlight for senior day.
Cox scored 19 points in each of the team's two games last week and was in double figures in all but one game this season. He currently sits fourth in the MIAA in scoring at 17.1 points per game.
