CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – For the fifth time in the 2024 season, senior defensive specialist and libero Hunter Haas has won the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) Defensive Player of the Week award. It is the third straight week that the Trine University men’s volleyball team has had a representative win the defensive award from the conference.

CINCINNATI, Ohio – The Trine University men’s volleyball team finished the 2024 regular season with a win 3-1 at Mount St. Joseph University on Saturday. The victory put the team in a tie for second with the University of Mount Union and Baldwin Wallace University in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL) standings.

ANGOLA, Ind. – Prior to the Trine University men’s volleyball team’s match with Adrian College, the Thunder celebrated the senior class of 2024. Hunter Haas, Nick Woolley, Ted Hofmeister, Matt Stillman and Landon Barrow were recognized before the team defeated the Bulldogs 3-1. The win pushes their record to 16-5 overall and 6-1 in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League (MCVL). Adrian falls to 14-12 and 2-5 in conference action.

ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men’s volleyball was efficient in their three-set win over The University of Olivet on Friday night It was the fifth-best kill percentage in program history at .429 on the night. Ted Hofmeister had kills on 13 of his 16 swings for a percentage of .812.
