PEORIA, Ill. – The Trine University Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team broke another school record at the 2023 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, placing fourth against the country’s best and earning the title of National Pewter Medalists in their final competition of the season.
ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Trine University synchronized skating teams recently competed at US Figure Skating’s 2023 Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, earning record breaking scores and placements for the Thunder. For the first time in program history, all three teams earned podium spots and brought home sectional championship titles for Trine.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University figure and synchronized skating teams have announced the date of their annual Spring Recruitment and Audition Weekend. The event will take place on beginning on Friday, March 17 and run through Sunday, March 19 at the University’s on campus rink, Thunder Ice Arena.
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – This past weekend, Trine University’s synchronized skating teams competed at The Kalamazoo Kick-Off Classic, bringing home record success as all three teams earned medals at the event for the first time in program history.
DEARBORN, Mich. – This past weekend, two of Trine University’s synchronized skating teams competed at the Chuck Cope Memorial Competition bringing home gold medals in both of their events.
ANGOLA, Ind. – On Sunday this past weekend the figure and synchronized skating teams kicked off their season with an alumni, friends and family exhibition. During the event the skating teams performed pieces of their new competition programs and also shared the ice with alumni who returned home to participate in Trine University’s Homecoming activities.
ANGOLA, Ind. – Head coach Rachel Franchock of the Trine University Figure and Synchronized Skating teams has announced the addition of assistant coach Rosalie Emerson to the programs.
