LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Trine University Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team clinched a second consecutive medal at the 2024 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships, establishing themselves as a top team in the division. The squad skated a clean program on Saturday, earning 105.61 points and the Pewter medal on the nation’s biggest stage.
Dearborn, Mich. - All three of the Trine University Synchronized Skating teams competed at the Tri-State Synchronized Skating Competition last weekend and Open Collegiate won a historic back-to-back Tri-State Championship title. The Collegiate team was awarded the bronze medal and Open Adult brought home the gold at their last competition of the season.

Oak Lawn, Ill. – The Trine University synchronized skating team traveled to Chicago this past weekend to compete at the 8th Annual Synchro Illinois Competition in the Open-Collegiate division. Since returning from winter break, the team has been gearing up for this event by focusing on cleaning up the program and improving the presentation.
Kalamazoo, Michigan – Trine’s synchronized skating team debuted their program and participated in the first synchronized skating competition in University history last weekend. The team competed in the open-collegiate division at Kick-Off Classic and placed third out of five teams from around the Midwest.
Kalamazoo, Michigan – The Intercollegiate Figure Skating Team made a splash at their debut while participating in the first collegiate figure skating competition in school history over the weekend. Nine out of the 11 events entered at Bronco Challenge Cup saw podium finishes by Thunder athletes, with all skaters finishing in the top five.
ANGOLA, IND. – The Trine University Athletic Director Matt Land announced the hiring of Rachel Franchock as Head Coach of the school's new women’s synchronized skating team which will begin competition starting in the 2018-19 season.
