ALBION, MICH. -- The Trine University women's golf team competed in the Albion (Mich.) College Spring Invitational held at Duck Lake Country Club in Albion, Mich.
As a team, the Thunder finished with a score of 362 strokes. Sophomore Lily Williamson (Colfax, Ind./Western Boone) led the team individually with a round of 85 strokes. Fellow sophomore Maire Sullivan (Plymouth, Mich./Plymouth) recorded the second-lowest total of 86 strokes and junior Jenna Doumount (Burlington, Ky./Villa Madonna Academy) was third with an 18-hole score of 88 strokes.
Sophomore Reagan Guthrie (Genoa, Ohio/Genoa Area) carded a round of 102 strokes and senior Olivia Phillips (Muncie, Ind./Muncie) rounded out the team eligible scores with a tournament-total of 105 strokes.
Sophomore Annabelle Burkholder (Lima, Ohio/Bath) competed for Trine as an individual and turned in a scorecard of 102 strokes.
Trine is scheduled to travel to Marshall, Mich. tomorrow (Wednesday, Apr. 14) for the one-day Olivet (Mich.) College Invitational at The Medalist Golf Club. The day is set to begin at 1 p.m.
