Overtime Thriller Goes Against Trine
April 24, 2024KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Trine University women’s lacrosse team suffered a 14-13 loss in overtime on Wednesday night to Kalamazoo College in a topsy-turvy affair that features four lopsided quarters. The Thunder won the first and third quarters with ease while the Hornets were exceptional in quarters two and four and after 60 minutes, the score was all even. Kalamazoo was able to secure the opening draw control in the extra frame and went on to score the game-winning goal. -
Thunder Fall to Flying Dutch
April 20, 2024ANGOLA, Ind. – In a battle for sole possession of first place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), Hope College defeated the Trine University women’s lacrosse team on Saturday 18-10. Hope is now 9-4 on the season and 5-0 inside the league while the Thunder fall to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

Women's Lacrosse Nabs Fourth Consecutive Victory
April 16, 2024ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s lacrosse team recorded their tenth win of the season on Tuesday with a 17-4 victory at home against Saint Mary’s College. The Thunder are now 10-3 overall and remain undefeated in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play at 4-0. The Belles drop to 1-10 overall and 0-4 inside the league.

April 15, 2024HUDSONVILLE, Mich. – For the third time in the 2024 season, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) recognized junior midfielder Brooke Hoag of the Trine University women’s lacrosse team as Athlete of the Week. It is the second time this year where Hoag has received Specialist of the Week honors from the conference.

March 23, 2024ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s lacrosse team outscored Wittenberg University 3-1 in the fourth quarter of a 10-8 victory on Saturday afternoon at Shive Field. The Thunder got eight points from junior Calista Richmond to help secure the victory (three goals, five assists). The Thunder are now 5-2 on the year while the Tigers of Wittenberg fall back to .500 at 4-4 overall.

March 20, 2024ANGOLA, Ind. – In an evenly contested bout between the Trine University women’s lacrosse team and the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds, the Thunder came up short 16-14 on Wednesday afternoon. The largest lead of the game for either side was three as the teams traded the lead 11 times in the game.
