ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's soccer coaching staff, led by head coach Gary Boughton, has announced they will host their 2023 Elite Prospect Camp beginning on Friday, July 7 through Saturday, July 8.
The camp is focused on providing instruction for individual athletes looking to compete at the collegiate level. Focus will be put individual technical development for players, small sided and 11v11 games. There will be a total of three on-field sessions, a campus tour, meals provided and presentations for the campers about Trine University.
Attendees will work with the same coaching staff and technique that led the Thunder to the program's second-best season in the it's NCAA Division III history. The team finished 11-5-3 overall with a 5-1-2 record in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) competition. The second-place finish during the conference regular season is the best in program history. They made their second straight appearance in the MIAA Tournament Championship, finishing runner-up again.
The camp is open to any athlete graduating from high school or junior college in the years 2023 through 2027. The event will begin with check-in on Friday afternoon and end Saturday evening.
The camp will carry a cost of $175 if registration is completed by Monday, May 15 or $200 if completed afterwards. For more information please view the camp's flyer.
