Baseball Youth Camp
The Trine baseball team will host a youth camp on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 for those in grades 3-8.
The one-day event will be divided into two sessions, both focusing on different aspects of the game. The first session will consist of infield and outfield skill work as well as hitting and will run from 10 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. The second session will involve pitching and catching skills as well as hitting and will run from 12:45 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Those interested can sign up for individual sessions or the whole day. The costs of the camp will be $30 per individual session or $45 to participate in both sessions.
Baseball High School Camp
The Trine baseball team will host a high school camp for grades 9-12. The camp will be held on two dates, Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 or Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017. Both camps will run from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Both camps will be held in the Ketner Sports Center and the ARC on Trine's campus. Hitting, pitching and defensive areas will be the main skills area of the camp.
The cost of the camp is $90 and includes a t-shirt.
Thunder Wrestling Clinics
The Trine wrestling team will host a series of clinics this summer.
Clinics will be held on 10 Sunday dates beginning May 21. All clinics will take place between 5 - 6:30 p.m. Every clinic will include instruction in technique as well as a live spar session. Clinics will be led and coached by Thunder assistant coach Tom Hall, as well as a variety of college wrestlers at various weights.
Cost of each session $10. Participants can also book all 10 camp dates for $70, paid in advance.

Trine's wrestling program and coaching staff has produced four NCAA Division III All-Americans, as well as 11 national qualifiers. Fourteen Thunder wrestlers have earned Scholar All-American honors from the National Wrestling Coaches Association.

Women's Basketball Summer Shoot-out
The Trine women's basketball team will host its fourth annual Summer Shoot-Out Friday, Jun. 9.
The one-day, 24-team tournament will begin at 9 a.m. in Trine University's Hershey Hall. Both varsity and JV divisions will be available. Registration is limited to the first 24 teams to sign up. All participating teams are guaranteed at least three games. Registration is $185 per team and is due by May 25.
Each game will feature two, 20-minute halves. The games will feature a running clock except for the last minute of the first half and last two minutes of the second half. IHSAA-licensed referees will work all games.
Women's Basketball Prospect Camp
ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine women's basketball team will hold a prospect camp for high school basketball players at the end of June, the team announced today.
The one-day prospect camp will be held Thursday, June 29 only in Hershey Hall on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open to young women entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2017. The session is limited to the first 50 players to register. Same-day registration is $60.
The prospect camp is geared towards high school aged players looking to take their game to the next level. Campers will receive instruction from Trine women's basketball coaches and players, participate in drill work and competitive games and attend a college admission/recruiting seminar. All participants will receive a camp t-shirt.

Campers will receive instruction from coaches and players who led the Thunder to a 25-3 record and the team's first NCAA Division III Tournament bid last year. Trine was nationally-ranked throughout much of the second half of the season. The team produced the MIAA's Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year.
Trine Football Camp
The Trine football team has announced a one-day summer camp to be held in July.
The camp is scheduled for Sunday, July 9 with check-in and registration beginning at 5:15 p.m. Campers will receive instruction from the Thunder football coaching staff. The camp will consist of instruction without pads. Helmets are optional. The camp is open to players entering grades 11 and 12 in the fall.
Cost of the camp is $15 per camper in advance. Campers should bring cleats and gym shoes.
Trine concluded last season 6-4 overall and placed fourth in the MIAA with a 3-3 conference mark. The Thunder produced two All-Region performers and had seven players earn conference recognition from the MIAA.
Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp
The Trine men's basketball team has announced dates for the Hoosier Basketball Boys Camp this summer.
The overnight camp will be held Sunday, Jul. 9 through Wednesday, Jul. 12 on the campus of Trine University. The camp is open for boys basketball players ages 8-17. Campers will receive individual instruction from the Trine coaching staff in groups based on age and ability. Campers will also have the opportunity to compete in tournament and league games. At the conclusion of the camp, participants will receive a certificate, t-shirt, camp basketball and various camp awards.
Cost of the camp is $299 for overnight campers and $249 for day campers. Overnight campers will stay in air-conditioned, apartment-style housing with counselor supervision.
Group discounts are also being offered for groups of five or more. These groups will receive a discount of $10 per camper.

Trine finished the season 14-12 overall and made the MIAA Tournament semifinals for the sixth-consecutive year. The Thunder produced three All-MIAA performers, including one First Team member and the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year.
Thunder Volleyball Camps
The Trine volleyball program has announced dates for several upcoming camps and clinics, with different options available for different ages and levels of play.
The Thunder will be hosting four summer camps this year. The first of these camps will be Middle School Camp Day, which runs from Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7. The camp will run from 9 - 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m. The Middle School Camp is designed to give campers a well-rounded knowledge of the game and will include basic schools, position understanding, technique work and flow of the game. Cost of the camp is $130, or $150 with meals included.
The team will host two camps geared towards high school players. Overnight Advanced Skills Camp will be held Friday, July 28 - Saturday, July 29. Participants will receive eight hours of position-specific instruction spread across three sessions. Specific instruction is available for setting, attack and defensive skills. Cost of the camp is $125 for an overnight camper, or $100 for a commuter. Meals are included in the camp fee.
The "Get Ready for Tryouts" camps will run Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. Position and skill-specific sessions for attacking/blocking, setting and serving/passing/defense will be available. Cost of the camp is $30 for one session, or $125 for two sessions.
The final summer camp will be Youth Camp, geared towards athletes in grades three through six. The evening camp will run from 6 - 8 p.m. Monday, July 24 through Thursday, July 27. The team's most popular camp is designed to introduce young athletes to volleyball in a fun and motivational way. Cost of the Youth Camp is $40.

Nike Women's Lacrosse Camp
The Trine women's lacrosse team will offer a summer camp open to girls lacrosse players ages 10-18, the team announced today.
The camp runs from Sunday, July 30 through Tuesday, Aug. 1. The camp begins with check-in from noon - 2 p.m. on July 30, followed by an orientation before the first field session at 3 p.m. Monday's camp runs from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., with the camp concluding at 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
Campers will receive complete skills instruction from college coaches with an emphasis on fundamentals. Position-specific instruction, drill work and scrimmages will also be prioritized. Participants will have the opportunity for focused instruction with a camper to coach on-field ratio of 8:1.
Overnight and commuter camp options are available. The overnight option includes two nights of lodging and all meals, with a cost of $295. The commuter camp includes lunch and dinner, with a cost of $195. Both camps include a reversible Nike practice jersey. All campers are eligible to win Nike and STX prizes for outstanding play, sportsmanship and improvement.

Men's Basketball Elite Camp
The Trine men's basketball team will host an Elite Camp for high school student-athletes this summer.
The 2017 Trine Men's Basketball Elite Camp is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 5 in Hershey Hall on the campus of Trine University. The one-day skills camp is open to players in grades 9-12. Players will receive drill work in stations, participate in competitions and have the opportunity to work in five-on-five situations. A tour of Trine University will be included.
The camp is designed to give student-athletes the opportunity to showcase their talent in a collegiate atmosphere. The cost of the camp is $75 per player. Cost includes a reversible jersey.

Campers will have the opportunity to learn from a coaching staff that has led the Thunder to six consecutive MIAA Tournament appearances. Trine produced the MIAA Defensive Player of the Year and two All-MIAA performers last year.
End of Summer Tennis Camp
The Trine tennis teams will host an End of Summer Camp for youth this August.
The camp takes place August 7-11 on the campus of Trine University. Camps are open to tennis players of all ages. Campers will be separated into three age groups: kindergarten through fourth grade, grades 5-8, and grades 9-12. Camp instruction is geared to instruct players of all ability levels.
