ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s lacrosse team sent their seniors out with a bang, cruising to a 18-7 victory over visiting Calvin University on the final day of the regular season. The win puts the team in a tie for second place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) standings.

Men's Golf
OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. – After day one of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships, the Trine University men’s golf team is third on the leaderboard. The conference leaders Hope College extended their advantage on the rest of the league with a score of 297 on Friday. The Adrian College Bulldogs are currently second through 18 holes at 303 and the Thunder shot a 310. Trine remains second in the league standings but need to pick up 23 strokes to catch up with the Flying Dutch.

ALMA, Mich. – The Trine University baseball team fought valiantly but came out on the wrong end of a walk-off error for the Alma College Scots to lose 5-4. Trine drops to 10-23 overall and 2-14 inside the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). Alma improves their record to 22-13 and 11-5 in conference play.

Women's Lacrosse
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Trine University women’s lacrosse team suffered a 14-13 loss in overtime on Wednesday night to Kalamazoo College in a topsy-turvy affair that features four lopsided quarters. The Thunder won the first and third quarters with ease while the Hornets were exceptional in quarters two and four and after 60 minutes, the score was all even. Kalamazoo was able to secure the opening draw control in the extra frame and went on to score the game-winning goal.
