ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University women's soccer team has announced that their 2020 Prospect Camp has been postponed until Saturday, July 25.
"In light of the ongoing and changing circumstances around the COVID-19, we have made the decision to postpone our 2020 Prospect Camp from May 3rd to Saturday, July 25th in the best interest of our recruits, players, and staff," explained head coach Gary Boughton, "With a number of players traveling in for the camp and the uncertainty of arrangements in the next several weeks we wanted to be proactive in our ability to accommodate everyone's needs. We are very excited to host our camp later this summer, and hope it allows all of the players the opportunity to visit our beautiful campus and experience what our soccer program truly has to offer."
Aside from the change in date, no other changes have been made to the camp itinerary. The camp will run from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. is open to all female players graduating high school in 2020 through 2023 and junior college transfer athletes. Campers will receive instruction from head coach Gary Boughton and his staff, a tour of campus and an informational question and answer session.
The camp will cost $70 per individual and will also include lunch and a camp t-shirt. Current Trine women's soccer student-athletes will also be available to meet and answer questions.
