ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine women's basketball team was picked seventh in the most recent D3hoops.com national poll.
Trine maintains their week one position in the rankings after picking up Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) victories over Adrian College and Calvin University last week to move to 7-1 overall. The Thunder are the only one-loss team inside the top 10 in the poll this week.
The best assist-to-turnover ratio in NCAA DIII belongs to the Trine women's basketball at 1.46. The Thunder find themselves eleventh in assists per game (18.2) and sixth in fewest turnovers per game (12.5).
In the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) national poll, Trine is tied with Bowdoin College in 13th place.
This week on the schedule, the Thunder square off with Olivet College at home on Saturday, December 11 at 3 pm. Free admission to that game is included as a part of Community Day.
