ANGOLA, Ind. – Trine University Women's Soccer team is partnering with the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County for "Bark-in-the-Park" day on Wednesday, September 13th during their home contest against Franklin College played on Weaver Field.
The Thunder are hoping to celebrate the work in our community done by the Humane Society by raising awareness of the need for good homes for dogs and cats currently being cared for at the shelter. The shelter will be bringing some dogs available for adoption, and we invite families to bring their dogs out to watch the game as well. Trine asks that all dogs are kept on a leash at all times.
In-kind donations of toys and household supplies (such as paper towels and trash bags) will be accepted, as the shelter is always in need.
