ANGOLA, Ind. -- The Trine University women's tennis team ran into tough competition in the form of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Hope College and fell 9-0.
The closest match of the day for the Thunder came from the No. 2 singles player Tatum Matthews who dropped her match 6-2, 6-2.
Trine falls to 9-7 overall and 3-2 in MIAA competition. They will face off with Alma College tomorrow, April 14 beginning at 1 p.m. That contest will take place in Alma.
