ANGOLA, IND.-- Take a look at the upcoming schedule and the week ahead in Trine Thunder Athletics.
Wednesday
Women's Basketball: Kalamazoo at Trine, 7:30 p.m.
After four-consecutive road games to open the season, the Thunder
come home for their home-opener. The game also opens the MIAA
season. Trine has won three-straight games, giving the Thunder
three road wins in a row for the first time since 2008-09. All wins
have come by 20 or more points, marking the first time Trine has
won three-straight by that margin since 1996.
Friday
Track and Field: Trine Conditioner Meet, 5 p.m.
The Thunder track teams host their traditional season-opening
meet prior to the holiday break. Trine got All-American
performances from Tyler Bourdo in the 400 M Dash, and Trisha King
in the 800 M run last winter. After an offseason of hard work, the
Thunder are hoping the first meet will provide a jump-start to more
success on the national stage this season.
Saturday
Wrestling: Trine at Ohio Northern Invitational, 9
a.m.
The Thunder return to the mats after a 1-2 performance in the
Olivet Comet Duals. Senior heavyweight Mack Green enters the match
14-1 overall, having won his last 12 matches. Trine placed 11th in
last season's Ohio Northern Invitational.
Women's Basketball: St. Mary's at Trine, 1 p.m.
MIAA-play continues as the Thunder host the Belles as part of a
doubleheader of basketball action in Hershey Hall.
Men's Basketball: Illinois Tech at Trine, 3 p.m.
The Thunder will look to keep their winning-streak alive after
three-consecutive wins over Franklin, Earlham, and Manchester.
Trine won last season's meeting by an 87-33 margin, which was the
second-largest margin of victory in a game in school-history. Will
Dixon is coming off a 32-point performance, while Tyler Good has
averaged 22.7 points per game during the current win-streak.
