ANGOLA, Ind.-- Trine's Mark Wilson is a finalist for HERO Sports D3Football Offensive LEGEND of the Year.

Wilson (Indianapolis, Ind./Lawrence Central) was named the organization's HERO of the Week for his performance in Trine's comeback victory over no. 22 Albion. The sophomore racked up an MIAA-record 327 yards on 46 carries and tied a team record with five touchdowns with the performance. All 11 of HERO Sports HERO of the Week award winners were named finalists for the Offensive LEGEND of the Year honor.

Wilson totaled 839 yards and 12 touchdowns on 147 carries to earn All-MIAA Second Team honors. His record-breaking performance also earned him MIAA Offensive Player of the Week honors and recognition on the D3Football.com team of the Week.

Trine concluded the season 6-4 overall and with a 4-2 mark in conference action. The team produced 10 all-conference selections and one D3Football.com All-Region performer.
