ANGOLA, IND. – The Trine University softball team will be offering two hitting clinics in the upcoming weeks.
Dates for the clinics include Sunday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Dec. 5. Each day the clinic will run from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The clinic set for this Sunday, Nov. 14 has been postponed. Anyone who was scheduled to attend on that day should expect the Trine Univeristy softball coaching staff to reach out with more information.
The clinics offer a unique opportunity for softball players to learn the techniques used by the elite hitters of Trine University's softball team. During the 2017, 2018 and 2019 seasons, the team was top-five for slugging percentage, runs scored and led the country with homeruns per game and total homeruns.
Sessions will be focused on hitting fundamentals and drills that have helped the Trine University softball program succeed at the plate.
Each clinic costs $60 individually and will be capped at 40 participants.
