STOCKTON, Mo. – Seniors Amira Faulkner and Alexandria Smith led the way as the Trine University women's triathlon team finished with four student-athletes finishing in the top-ten at the 2022 NCAA West Regional Qualifier.

Faulkner led the team with a second-place finish overall. She posted a time of 1:10:05, just under two seconds out of first. Smith finished just a second behind her teammate in third with a time of 1:11:08.

Also finishing in the top-ten were freshman Grace Huisman and sophomore Kathryn Berlew. Huisman posted a time of 1:13:05 to finish sixth, while Berlew came in at 1:15:00 to finish eighth. Senior Samantha Weaver came in just outside of the top scores at 13^th with a time of 1:19:28.

Freshman Summer South finished 19^th with a time of 1:22:26 and junior Rebecca Schaffner was 26^th with a 1:27:28.
