NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the recipients of the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country All-Academic Athletes and Teams. In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
NORTON, Ohio – At the 2023 Great Lakes Regional, the Trine University women’s cross country team secured a tenth-place finish as a team. The Thunder now await the results of the NCAA selection committee and the unveiling of the NCAA DIII National Championship participants on Sunday, November 12. The region’s automatic bid went to the winners of the race, the Calvin University Knights, via tiebreaker with DePauw University.
HOLLAND, Mich. – At the 2023 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Cross Country Championships, the Trine University women’s cross country team finished third in the conference on Saturday. Hope College and Calvin University shared the team title with a matching score of 33, and the Thunder were behind them at 80 points.
ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Trine University women’s cross country team competed in the Augustana Interregional Rumble on Saturday morning, the final event before the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Championships. The Thunder were 15th out of 42 teams, some of which were the top contending teams to win the NCAA Division III national championship this season.
MISHAWAKA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s cross country team had student-athletes competing in the Bethel University XC Invitational on Friday afternoon. The team placed 12th out of 14 squads in the meet with Indiana Wesleyan University securing the team win.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – At the Louisville Invite, the Trine University women’s cross country team was able to win their heat out of 32 teams spanning across all three NCAA Divisions as well as NAIA opponents.
EAST LANSING, Mich. – At the 2023 Auto Owners Spartan Invitational at Forest Akers East Golf Course (hosted by Michigan State University), the Trine University women’s cross country team placed seventh out of ten teams and the host Spartans were the team champions of the event.
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – In the 2023 season’s first meet, the Trine University women’s cross country team finished second overall at the Mastodon XC Opener at Purdue-Fort Wayne. The Thunder women had two inside the top ten en route to their runner-up finish, only behind the host school, Purdue-Fort Wayne.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men’s and women’s cross country and track & field programs have announced the hiring of the position of Assistant Cross Country and Track & Field Coach. Head Cross Country Coach Zach Raber and Head Track & Field Coach Josh Fletcher have hired 2023 Trine University graduate Haley Livingston as their new assistant coach.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men’s and women’s cross country programs along with head coach Zach Raber have unveiled their season schedule in 2023. There are eight meets on the calendar this fall, including three postseason events. Last year, the Thunder placed third in both the men’s and women’s Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) standings and had a combined seven (four women, three men) named All-MIAA.

LANSING, Mich. – At the site of the NCAA Division III National Championships, the Trine University women’s cross country team was able to string together a top-10 finish on Saturday in the NCAA Pre-National Championship event at Forest Akers Golf Course. The Thunder were fourth out of teams out of the Great Lakes Region.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University Cross Country and Track & Field programs have announced the hiring of Michela Cholak as an assistant coach. She will be the head assistant for the men’s and women’s cross country teams and have a hand in coaching the 400- and 800-meter participants during the track and field season.
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Trine University women’s cross country team brought home a third-place finish on Saturday morning at the Yellowjacket XC Invitational at Genesee Valley Park.

ADA, Ohio – To kick off the 2022 season, the Trine University women’s cross country team competed in the Polar Bear Invitational on Saturday morning, hosted by Ohio Northern University.
