ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University men's tennis program was unveiled their schedule for the 2022-23 season. Under the direction of head coach Erin Kolar, the team made a postseason appearance one year ago as the three seed in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) tournament.
To begin the year, the Thunder will travel to Manchester University on September 8, then square off with Franklin College and Webster University in a tri-match on September 10. The next weekend, Trine will make the trip to Hope College to compete in the Hope College Invite on September 16 and 17.
The home opener for the Trine men will be on September 19 versus Anderson University. The fall portion of the schedule wraps up with the ITA Regional Championships from September 23-25 in St. Louis, Missouri.
To kick off the spring, the Thunder will make their annual spring break trip to Orlando, Florida from March 3-9. On March 16, the team will play host to Manchester University once more to prepare for league play.
In their seven MIAA matches, three of them will be at home: Alma College on April 5, Calvin University on April 15 and Kalamazoo College on April 19. Road matches in conference play include March 22 at Olivet College, March 25 at Albion College, April 1 at Adrian College and April 7 at Hope College.
The final event of the regular season will be a non-conference matchup at Wabash College on April 21.
