ANGOLA, Ind. -- Seniors Madison Munger (Indianapolis, Ind. / Franklin Central) and Jacqueline Baughman (Lake Orion, Mich. / Lutheran Northwest) were both named to the 2021 iterations of the All-MIAA teams, the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) announced today, Saturday, April 24.
This is the second time that both student-athletes have been named to the All-MIAA teams. Last season, played in the fall of 2019, both were named to the All-MIAA first team.
This season Munger repeats as a first-team selection. She currently leads MIAA competitors with 179 kills and is second averaging 4.37 kills per set. She is also tied for fifth in the conference with 147 digs. She currently sits at 1219 kills in her career, third in the program's NCAA history. She is currently on pace to finish second in the same span with an average of 3.48 kills per set.
Baughman earns second-team honors this season. She currently sits in third among MIAA competition averaging 9.31 assists per set and with 270 total assists. She currently sits in fifth in career assists at Trine and third with a career average of 7.43 assists per set.
The Thunder will finish their season later today when they host Kalamazoo College for the final of the consolation bracket of this year's MIAA Volleyball Tournament.
