GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2023 Academic All-District® teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), have been announced for the four fall sports, including football, men’s and women’s soccer and women’s volleyball. Nine Thunder student-athletes were named to their respective teams.

ADRIAN, Mich. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team competed against Adrian College on Tuesday evening in the #4 versus #5 match in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament First Round. The Thunder were unable to topple their opponents in the Bulldogs as Adrian advances on in the event with a 3-0 win.
OLIVET, Mich. – With their victory on Friday night, the Trine University women’s volleyball team clinched a spot in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Tournament. The Thunder defeated The University of Olivet by a score of 3-1.
ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team collected a victory on Wednesday night whilst celebrating their senior student-athletes 3-2 over the Alma College Scots. The win pushes their record to 10-14 overall and 2-5 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play while Alma falls to 13-12 and 2-6.
GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team made their final preparations for the regular season finale conference games next week with a trip to DePauw University to face Kenyon College as well as the host Tigers in a tri-match. The Thunder came away from the event with a 1-1 record, defeating Kenyon and losing to DePauw, both in four sets.

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team competed in a tournament at North Central College on Saturday and dropped two matches in straight sets. The Thunder competed against Augustana University to start the day and concluded by facing the host Cardinals of North Central.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team dropped their Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) contest to Saint Mary’s College on Friday evening by a score of 3-1. After suffering a loss in the first set, the Thunder rallied to a dominant set two victory. A closely contested set three went to the Belles before the home squad pulled away to the match win in the fourth.
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Trine University women’s volleyball team lost in straight sets on Tuesday to the seventh-ranked team in NCAA DIII heading into the day in Calvin University. The Thunder fall to 8-9 overall and 1-3 in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) play. The Knights of Calvin are now 14-3 and 2-1 in conference action.

DEFIANCE, Ohio – The Trine University women’s volleyball team (2-6) made quick work of the Defiance College Yellow Jackets (0-8) Tuesday evening with a three-set victory to secure the first true road win of the year.
