BATTLE CREEK, MICH. -- The Trine women's golf team finished seventh with 698 strokes in the MIAA Championship held at the Bedford Valley Country Club.
St. Mary's College finished the two-day tournament in first with 615 strokes. Hope College came in second with 644 strokes. Olivet College rounded out the top three with 660 strokes.
Senior Brook Johnson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) led the Thunder in the tournament with a two day total of 168 strokes. Senior Natalie Woodley (Grayling, Mich./Grayling) finished second on the team with 176 strokes. Senior Jordan Stevens (Brownstown, Ind./Brownstown Central) and sophomore Lyndsey Welper (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion) rounded out the scorecard each finishing with 177 strokes.
The event concludes the fall season for Trine University.
