ANGOLA, Ind. – The Trine University women's golf team has announced their spring schedule in 2024.
The Thunder women will be hosts of two events at Zollner Golf Course in the spring slate, starting with the Trine Spring Classic on Friday, March 29. From there, Trine will look to make it three years in a row winning the Brit-Thunder Cup. That event takes place at Cascades Golf Course in Jackson, Michigan on April 3.
A weekend trip to northwest Ohio awaits the team on April 5-6 for the Bluffton/Ohio Northern Invitational. Trine will play one round at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio and one round at Hidden Creek Golf Club in Lima, Ohio.
On April 11, the Thunder will be on their home course once again for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4 that was postponed from the final season. That event originally was scheduled for October 5, but was postponed due to inclement weather conditions.
Two days later, Trine will take part in the Adrian Invitational at Tecumseh Golf Club for a one-day multi-team tournament on April 13. The Thunder will go head-to-head against Hope College on April 17 at Clearbrook Golf Club in Saugatuck, Michigan, the final preparations before the MIAA Championships.
The league's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championships will be decided on April 22-23 at the MIAA Championship event. The final conference event of the season will be contested at Gull Lake View West in Richland, Michigan.
