NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross County Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has announced the recipients of All-American awards for the NCAA Division III Outdoor season. Trine University's Jake Gladieux was selected as a First Team All-American in both the 110-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles.
Gladieux, a senior from Oregon, Ohio, becomes a ten-time All-American by way of being selected in both hurdle events. It is the most NCAA Division III All-American awards by any student-athlete at the university.
At the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships, Gladieux finished sixth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.22 seconds. He ran a personal best and school record time of 14.05 seconds in the preliminary round to qualify for the event finals. Gladieux also made it to the event finals in the 400-meter hurdles but did not start the event due to injury. Despite not being able to start in the 400-meter hurdle finals, Gladieux was still named to the First Team due to being inside the top eight nationally.
