FREELAND, Mich. – Trine University women's track and field student-athlete Haley Livingston [Fort Worth, Texas / Everman] has been honored as Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Women's Track Athlete of the Week following her performances at the Hilltopper Relays.
Livingston had three personal bests this week, including a school record in the 100-meter hurdles. The sophomore ran a time of 15.29 seconds in the event to break her own previous best mark. She also notched personal bests in the 400-meter hurdles (1:09.01) and long jump (5.60 meters / 18' 4.5"). In the long jump, Livingston was first among 30 competitors from all three NCAA levels. Livingston also competed in the triple jump, where she placed fourth-overall at 10.98 meters (36' 0.25").
This weekend, the Thunder travel to Wabash College for the Huntsman Family Invitational on Saturday, April 9.
