ADRIAN, Mich. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced their "Three Stars of the Week" with sophomore Josh Wright returning to the list after a one-week absence.
It is the fifth time a member of the Trine University men's hockey team has been named a star of the week. Wright earned his first NCHA weekly recognition two weeks ago, making this the second of the season and his career.
The defenseman finished the past weekend with four points, including two goals and two assists, helping to lead the Thunder to a sweep of Marian University. On Friday he scored a power-play goal in the opening minutes of the second period that would end up being the game winner and then added an assist in the final moments of the game. Then on Saturday he finished with another goal and assist helping Trine become the first NCHA team to reach double-digit wins for the season.
