ADRIAN, Mich. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced their "Three Stars of the Week" with junior Bobby Price taking home the award after the team's sweep of Concordia University Wisconsin.
It is the seventh time a member of the Trine University men's hockey team has been named a star of the week. It is the third time in his career that Price has received a weekly award from the NCHA, his first this season.
Price finished the weekend doubleheader with a team high five points, including two goals and three assists. On both days he helped set up the game winning goal, before helping to ice the victories later.
On Friday the eventual game winner came in the second period with the Thunder taking a 2-1 lead. Price recorded that assist and then added an assist and a goal in the final period to seal the game. On Saturday, he assisted in a last second goal in the first period that ended up being the clincher, then he once again scored in the third to seal the win.
